Zero Tolerance Policy: HiveSnaps has absolutely zero tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) content. We are committed to protecting children and maintaining a safe platform for all users.

2. Prohibited Content and Activities
The following are strictly prohibited on HiveSnaps:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) in any form
- Content that sexualizes, grooms, or endangers minors
- Solicitation or facilitation of sexual activity with minors
- Content that promotes or normalizes child exploitation
- Sharing personal information of minors without consent
- Any content that could facilitate harm to children
This includes but is not limited to: images, videos, text, comments, or any other form of public communication that violates these standards.
3. Age Verification and Access Controls
Minimum Age Requirements
- Users must be at least 13 years old to use HiveSnaps
- Age verification is handled by Hive.io during Hive account creation
- HiveSnaps interfaces with existing Hive accounts that have already met age requirements
Protection Measures
- All interactions on HiveSnaps are public (no private messaging)
- Content moderation through blockchain-based downvoting system
- Cooperation with Hive blockchain security organizations
- Community-driven reporting and moderation

Manual Review Process
- Reports are reviewed by the app developer
- Content moderation via blockchain downvotes (@snapie account)
- Cooperation with established Hive blockchain security teams
- Immediate escalation of child safety concerns to appropriate authorities
5. Reporting Mechanisms
How to Report Suspicious Content or Behavior
In-App Reporting
- Tap the three-dots menu (β―) on any post or comment
- Select "Report Content"
- Choose "Child Safety Concern" from the options
- Provide detailed information about the concern
- Submit the report - it will be prioritized immediately
Direct Contact
- Email: snapieapp@proton.me
- Urgent reports: Mark subject line with "URGENT - Child Safety"
- Response time: Child safety reports are prioritized and reviewed within 2 hours
What to Include in Your Report
- Username(s) of accounts involved
- URLs or post identifiers
- Description of the concerning content or behavior
- Screenshots (if safe to capture)
- Any additional context that may be helpful
6. Response and Enforcement
Immediate Actions
- Suspected CSAE content is immediately removed and preserved for investigation
- Accounts involved are immediately blacklisted pending investigation
- Law enforcement is contacted within 24 hours as required by law
- NCMEC CyberTipline reports are filed for US-based incidents
Investigation Process
- All reports are investigated by the app developer in coordination with blockchain security teams
- Evidence is preserved in compliance with legal requirements
- Cooperation with law enforcement investigations is mandatory
- Content moderation through blockchain downvoting for confirmed violations
Legal Compliance
- Full compliance with applicable laws including:
- US: 18 U.S.C. Β§ 2258A (NCMEC reporting requirements)
- EU: Article 12 of Directive 2011/93/EU
- UK: Sexual Offences Act 2003
- International: UN Convention on the Rights of the Child
7. Reporting to Authorities and Organizations
When child safety concerns are identified, HiveSnaps will report to appropriate authorities including:
- National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) - Required US reporting for CSAE content
- Local law enforcement agencies - As required by law and jurisdiction
- Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) - For international coordination when applicable
Users can also directly report to:
- INHOPE network - International hotline network
- Local authorities - Emergency services and police
- Specialized hotlines - Country-specific child protection services
